Mac Virtual Camera Support

We’ve just released version 1.9.1 which adds virtual camera support on MacOS. While Visibox has supported virtual camera capabilities on Windows since the beginning, we just added support for virtual cameras on the Mac.

This means that you can use virtual cameras such as Elgato’s EpocCam – which allow you to use your iPhone as a webcam over wifi. Want to start your show from backstage? Or bring the camera out into the audience? You can now easily show content from your phone on the Visibox screen on stage.

Other popular virtual cameras include Snap Camera (which gives you all of Snapchat’s filters for your webcam), OBS (now Visibox can stream to or from OBS), GoPro (use your GoPro as a webcam), ManyCam (add effects, graphics, and more), and loads of others.
