FREE: Visibox Retro Science Pack

Visibox Retro Science Pack is a collection of high-definition video loops designed to enhance visual experiences in audiovisual projects, live performances, and art projects. This collection includes 25 clips sourced from documentary and educations films from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. Videos have been upscaled from their original low-res digitizations. These loops can be used as visual accompaniments to music, as VJ loops, or as background visuals in a variety of settings. They are designed to create a vibe and take a backseat to the main event while still providing a visually engaging experience. They are designed to be used as-is or as a starting point for further manipulation.

Technical Details

The loops are custom-edited 1080P h.264-encoded MP4 files without audio. Each file was edited to either loop seamlessly or crossfade to mask the loop transition point. This means that even short loops can be played indefinitely without any noticeable jump or break in the video.

Our standard video pack license is here. In short, you can use this content wherever you like. You just can’t redistribute it in its original form.

How To Use

If you’re using Visibox, just drag ‘em in! If you’re using VLC, select “Repeat One” from the Play menu. In Quicktime Player, select “Loop” from the View menu. These video loops will also work in most VJ environments. Keep in mind that some players are better at looping than others.
